EkoRE held a groundbreaking ceremony for its solar cell factory which is located in Niğde on the seventh of May, 2016. It is known to be Turkey’s first solar cell factory. Comprising cell and wafer production, the factory is established to meet Turkey’s increasing energy demand. Niğde’s governor Necmettin Kılıç, and Ak Parti deputy Alpaslan Kavaklıoğlu were among the attendants of this significant event for Turkey’s renewable energy industry. Mr. Süzer, CEO of EkoRE, emphasized the advantages of harnessing the sun in his speech. Following speaker, Ak Parti deputy Alpaslan Kavaklıoğlu, described this project as a pioneer investment that would attract new investments to Niğde. We are proud to initiate this valuable project as EkoRE.
