EkoRE, being one of the most reputable renewable energy companies in Turkey, recently started a solar energy system terminals project with a total capacity above 50 MW in Kaş district, Antalya. The land excavation is underway for the solar plant of a 6.8 MW capacity. Expectations are that the Kaş solar plant will eliminate an estimated 6 thousand tons of CO2 emission. In addition, Konya Kulu 5 MW solar plant, the first leg of the project pipeline has reached the end stage for completion. Following the Kaş project in Antalya, the construction of other solar plants, with varying capacities, will be targeted for rollout in additional cities, such as Adana, Osmaniye, Aydın and Tokat.
