EkoRE Introduces Solar Power to Yırca School and Mosque

 

A project organized by Greenpeace, EkoRE installed solar panel systems at both a school and mosque in the village of Yırca.

Besides providing clean energy, one of the aims of the initiative is to teach the village’s 316 elementary school students about renewable energy. The installed solar system is able to store energy and is also connected to the electrical grid in case of a power shortage.
